West Ham manager David Moyes has reassured fans that England midfielder Kalvin Phillips will be given plenty of time to become a key player for the team. Phillips, who joined West Ham on loan from Manchester City, had a rocky start but Moyes is not worried. The West Ham manager further explained: "We have got good midfield players, he is in addition to them. David Moyes, West Ham's manager, doesn't think the 25-year-old should receive a negative reception, considering he led West Ham to Europa Conference League success last season before joining Arsenal in a £105million deal. "He attended the (club) functions, and dealt with young West Ham supporters, so he deserves respect for all those things as well."
