David Beckham to present Soccer Aid trophy

David Beckham has announced he will present the trophy to the winning team at the Soccer Aid match in September. Beckham said: “I’m delighted to be attending Soccer Aid for Unicef in my role as Unicef goodwill ambassador. “Soccer Aid for Unicef has never been more important, with the Covid crisis making life for kids in the world’s poorest countries even harder. Beckham will also reunite with old teammates Wayne Rooney, Gary Neville and Paul Scholes, who are all set to play as part of the England team. Soccer Aid began in 2006 and was co-founded by singer and Unicef UK ambassador Robbie Williams and former Newcastle United football club chairman Freddy Shepherd.
