SUBANG JAYA: A man who had claimed to be a "Datuk Seri" has surrendered himself to the police to assist with investigations into a cheating syndicate. "The suspect surrendered on Sunday (April 1) and called himself a Datuk Seri. The suspect however confessed to being involved in the case," said ACP Mohammad Azlin in a statement on Monday (April 2). District OCPD Asst Comm Mohammad Azlin Sadari said that the 49-year-old suspect was wanted for running a cheating syndicate that collected donations. ACP Mohammad Azlin added that two suspects were nabbed last August following police surveillance of them .
