KUALA LUMPUR: The "Datuk Seri" who was charged with assaulting three Rela personnel is expected to face drug abuse charges on Monday. "He will be brought to the magistrate's court on Jalan Duta for the charges to be read," he said. It is learnt that the businessman, who has a drug offence record, has also been identified as a person of interest in several other cases involving criminal syndicate activities. The suspect was earlier arrested on Monday (Oct 30) after he presented himself at the Ampang Jaya police headquarters. Deputy Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Noor Rashid Ibrahim also confirmed that the suspect had tested positive for drugs when he was arrested on Monday.
