A man who killed his mother seven years ago is facing new criminal charges. On Wednesday, investigators in the internet child exploitation unit received information that a Dartmouth man was in communication with someone he believed to be a 15-year-old girl from the United States. The man was allegedly making plans to travel to the States to meet the girl. Ryan Lamontagne had been charged with second-degree murder and indignity to human remains.
