The Daria series ran on MTV from 1997 to 2002 (five seasons) and was one of the network's highest-rated shows of the era. Being able to give voice to fresh, feminist and unexpected stories of young women excites me," said Ellis Ross. Ellis Ross, who will voice Jodie, has won a Golden Globe for Best Actress for her role as Dr. Rainbow Johnson on the hit ABC sitcom Black-ish.
