Tensions between Pelosi and Trump have escalated from their already advanced level since Pelosi's reported "prison" comments. Pelosi told CNN earlier this week that she's "done" with Trump. Pelosi also weighed in on current events, including the apparent attack on two tankers in the Gulf of Oman on Thursday. Asked if she believes the US is headed toward a military confrontation with Iran, Pelosi said, "Well I certainly hope not." Pelosi said "the American people have no appetite for a war with Iran," adding, "I don't think the President does."
