Ten years ago, Daniel Owira’s life changed for the better after his performance of a narrative dubbed Otonglo Time. Daniel Owira during an interview with The Standard at Multimedia University where he was pursuing a degree in Film Production and Animation. Today, Owira is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Journalism and International Communication at the Communication University of China, Beijing. Since his arrival in Bejing China, Owira states that he fell in love with the country, adding that the only challenge he has been facing is the communication barrier. When not in class Owira explores China through interacting with the locals and visiting other cities to deeply understand the society.
