Ten years ago, Daniel Owira’s life changed for the better after his performance of a narrative dubbed Otonglo Time. This was during the gala of the Kenya Schools and Colleges Drama Festival in State House Mombasa. Daniel Owira during an interview with The Standard at Multimedia University where he was pursuing a degree in Film Production and Animation. Today, Owira is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Journalism and International Communication at the Communication University of China, Beijing. When not in class Owira explores China through interacting with the locals and visiting other cities to deeply understand the society.
