Two motorists speeding at more than 150 kilometres per hour in the past week have been blasted as "irresponsible" by Mid and South Canterbury's top police officer. STUFF Two drivers have been spotted driving at dangerous speeds on Temuka-Orari Highway/State Highway 1 near Winchester, in less than a week. Mid and South Canterbury area commander Inspector Dave Gaskin said it was "completely irresponsible to travel at that speed". Speeding drivers could expect the courts to punish them with "maximum severity", Gaskin said.
