The gory accident which occurred around midnight on Monday, January 13 involved two buses, one said to be traveling from Takoradi to Accra – with registration number GR 5704-18 – and the other – with registration number GN 3780-10 – in the opposite direction. Four out of the six men on admission and some women out of the nine who are on admission. The National Road Safety Authority is investigating the crash and has said its “multi-disciplinary” investigations are expected to inform the next line of “remedial actions and measures” to prevent future instances of such road crashes. The Road Safety Authority also disclosed that plans are in place to efficiently regulate the operations of commercial road transport organisations.
