The company stressed that works are still ongoing to achieve 100% restoration of its data services to keep serving its customers well. On Thursday, January 16, 2020, customers in Ghana and other West African countries experienced instability in data connectivity. It was reported that the hitches were caused by "double undersea fibre optic cable cut in Europe".
