"We would visit him, and we loved watching the whole process ourselves," says Sheryn Parry. "We watched if right from when they took the old firestation back to nothing, and then built it all up again. The Parrys ran the old firestation as the Kingsland Boarding House for 16 years, then changed the name to the Kingsland Old Station House for the last four years they owned that property. "We sold it, and it was quickly onsold a year later to Warner Bros for The Block," Ken says.
