Dadaab OCPD arrested over Sh17,000 bribe


Detectives from the anti-graft agency arrested the Dadaab refugee camp police boss for soliciting and receiving a Sh17,000 bribe from a matatu operator on Tuesday. Raphael Kimilu, Daadab OCPD, was arrested at his office by the officers who had laid a trap for him using treated money. The OCPD was immediately arrested after receiving the money from the businessman. The man is said to have reported the matter to Garissa EACC office which issued the complainant with the treated cash. Kimilu is among senior police officers who were recently vetted by the Johnstone Kavuludi-led National Police Service Commission (NPSC).
