Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Secretary Ramon Lopez will be the keynote speaker during the grand launching of Mindanao State University Entrepreneurship Development Team (MSU-EDT). MSU System President Dr. Habib Macaayong told The Manila Times the aim of this event is to raise awareness among the university constituents and stakeholders on the goals and objectives of MSU-EDT. The MSU-EDT is tasked to assist the Entrepreneurship Training and Promotion Office in establishing college-based enterprises, provide technical support to micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and promote a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation in the university. Moreover, Macaayong said the e-Padian is a virtual marketplace which aims to help and support MSMEs, including farmers and fisherfolk in promoting businesses and selling products online.
