The ten-member committee, led by DSCC Chief Engineer Rejaul Karim visited the scene at Chawkbazar around 9:30am on Friday. Buildings putting public safety at risk will be marked with warnings.”The DSCC official pointed out that there was a lot of combustible substances and chemicals stored inside the building. Sixty-seven people were killed in a massive fire that ravaged through several multi-storey buildings at Nanda Kumar Lane in the Churihatta area of Chawkbazar, Old Dhaka on Wednesday night.
