Share TweetBy Betheena UniteConstruction of a separate building for the Public Attorney’s Office has started, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), the implementing agency, recently announced. Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark Villar said that the new building is now underway in a 5,175 square meters property at the National Government Center located in Commonwealth Avenue, Quezon City. It was learned that early in May 2017, Public Attorney’s Office entered into a memorandum of agreement with the DPWH and National Housing Authority for the preparation of the required architectural designs and building engineering plans. The groundbreaking ceremony was led by Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra, Chief Public Attorney Persida Rueda-Acosta, and DPWH Assistant Secretary Antonio Molano Jr.
