(CNN) The Department of Justice has filed an appeal of a federal judge's decision this week that declared the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention eviction moratorium unconstitutional. But Saturday night, the Justice Department filed an appeal in the case. An Arizona constable posts an eviction order for non-payment of rent in Phoenix, Arizona. "The decision, however, does not extend beyond the particular plaintiffs in that case, and it does not prohibit the application of the CDC's eviction moratorium to other parties. For other landlords who rent to covered persons, the CDC's eviction moratorium remains in effect."
