DOH reports 76 new cases of COVID-19 in PH, total now at 3,094


MANILA, Philippines — There were 76 new recorded cases of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the Philippines, bringing the total to 3,094, the Department of Health (DOH) said Saturday. Five people also managed to recover from the viral disease, with the total recoveries now at 57. The COVID-19 is a respiratory disease caused by the novel coronavirus that first emerged in China’s city of Wuhan in Hubei province in late 2019.
