DNCC Chief Executive Officer Md Abdul Hye formally inaugurated the mosquito extermination program at VIP terminal of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the city on Saturday afternoon. The crash program will continue every day except on March 26 until April 4. However, the length of the crash program may be extended if necessary, said Abdul Hye. Larvicide and Malaria Oil B will be sprayed alongside Adulticide through fogging machine in every ward under the DNCC. Among others, ward councillor Afsar Uddin Khan, DNCC Secretary Rabindra Shree Barua, Chief Health Officer Brig Gen Zakir Hasan, Director of Civil Aviation Authority Mizanur Rahman, and Zonal Executive Officer Selim Fakir, were present at the inauguration program.
