‘Students need to be curious’

The foundation, in association with University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB), organized a launching ceremony on Saturday at the Gyantapas Abdur Razzaq Foundation premises in Dhaka’s Dhanmondi. She said the culture of “not questioning” needs to change and encouraged students to be curious and question to enhance their learning experience. Project Director Muhammad Jahangir said the young generation is very enthusiastic concerning learning about topics related to the social sciences and humanities. “While interviewing applicants, the thirst for knowledge among these enthusiastic students made us feel that we need more space to facilitate them,” he added. The initiative encourages students to develop learning outside regular classrooms, and professionals to acquire the necessary knowledge to develop critical thinking.
