DMP hands over DNA samples to FBI

“They were handed over on Friday morning,” Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Deputy Commissioner Masudur Rahman told the Dhaka Tribune. The Dhaka Metropolitan Police have handed over the samples, collected from the corpses of Gulshan cafe attackers, to the representative of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in Bangladesh. DC Masudur Rahman said they were not sure when the reports will come in. The blood and hair samples were collected on Wednesday to find out if they took any drug before the carnage. Corpse of Saiful Caukider, a chef who was killed during the attack, is also at the morgue.
