Share TweetBy Chito ChavezThe Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) said on Friday it will conduct a probe over allegations that former Manila Mayor Joseph “Erap” Estrada failed to turn over documents of the city government to his successor Franciso “Isko Moreno” Domagoso. “It is the responsibility of the former mayor in this case former mayor Erap Estrada to have organized a transition team and for the outgoing mayor to have formally turned over all of the documents to the incoming mayor,” DILG spokesperson, Undersecretary Jonathan Malaya said. During the scheduled turnover rites, only members of Moreno’s transition team attended the ceremony at the Quirino Grandstand. The rite was eventually canceled when Estrada and members of his transition team did not show up.
