The Directorate of Criminal Investigation indicated on Thursday that it will not be pursuing or summoning self-proclaimed Prophet David Owuor anytime soon for accusations of obtaining property belonging to Jayne Njagi Muthoni. Jayne’s family had accused the prophet of fraudulently obtaining her properties and using them to his own advantage. Prophet Owuor with President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila OdingaDCIO Wanjau's statement came after two women that worked as housekeepers for Jayne recorded statements at the Kabete Police Station. Detectives also denied claims that Owuor was scheduled to appear at the station to record a statement. The DCIO also wondered why the media was speculating that Owuor was summoned as he questioned their sources.
