Washington (CNN) Former Trump campaign chief Paul Manafort has been formally disbarred in Washington, the capital's court of appeals announced Thursday. The unanimous opinion from the DC Court of Appeals said a January suspension of Manafort from the DC Bar should move into place fully, meaning that Manafort -- who is in federal prison -- has been disbarred. At his last court appearance, Manafort was hobbled by a gout-like condition in his legs that he'd developed while in jail and used a wheelchair. He also agreed to cooperate with the prosecutors from Mueller's office -- before lying during those interview sessions. Special counsel's office prosecutors did not find that Manafort had colluded with the Russian government while he served as Trump's campaign chairman in 2016, according to Mueller's findings.
