Two accused in the case have been arrested. DB (North division) Additional Deputy-Commissioner (ADC) Golam Saklain Sithil disclosed the information on Sunday morning. They will be sent to court with 10-day remand pleas for both.”Earlier, police arrested SMHI Faruk, landowner of Banani’s FR Tower, and BNP leader Tasvir Ul Islam, one of the owners of the illegally occupied floors in FR Tower, from different areas of Dhaka. On Saturday, Banani police outpost Sub-Inspector (SI) Milton Datta filed a case accusing Rupayan Group Chairman Liakat Ali Khan, BNP leader Tasvir Ul Islam and SMHI Faruk over the deaths in the fire.
