SHAH ALAM: In the one year that the Pakatan Harapan government has helmed the nation, it has fulfilled many of the promises made, says DAP national chairman Tan Kok Wai in his opening address at the party's 2019 National Congress here on Sunday (May 5). He said the ruling coalition's leaders were committed to turning into reality the people's hope as stated in Pakatan's manifesto. "However, there is this perception being played by certain quarters that Pakatan Harapan has not fulfilled promises," he added. "I would like to stress that under the Pakatan Harapan administration, promises will not remain mere promises. Tan said the opposition, especially Umno and PAS, also continued to create trouble by fanning racial and religious sentiments.
