ISKANDAR PUTERI: A teenager in an attempt to evade authorities sustained injuries to his legs after his motorcycle collided with a police car at KM21.1 along the Second Link highway here on Sunday (May 5). Iskandar Puteri OCPD Iskandar Puteri OCPD Asst Comm Dzulkhairi Mukhtar said the 2.04am incident involved a police Mobile Patrol Vehicle (MPV) and a Yamaha LC motorcycle. "Initial investigations at the scene found that the incident happened when the MPV, while on traffic patrol from Gelang Patah to Perling, collided with a motorcycle that was travelling against traffic flow. "The motorcyclist went against the traffic to escape from going through a roadblock not far from the scene," he said in a statement here on Sunday. He said the case was being investigated under Section 43(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
