However, I’ve never read anything by him detailing legal responsibilities incumbent on cyclists in the Ontario Highway Traffic Act. But cyclists riding illegally on sidewalks have maimed and killed pedestrians. And we’ve all seen violations regarding stop signs, red lights, one-way streets, cross-walks, proper gear for night riding, etc. I suggest that the proportion of scofflaw cyclists here is just as great as it is among motorists, if not greater.
