A cyclist in his 50s was pinned to the wall of a McDonald’s in Oakville by a car while trying to pay at the drive-thru window on Wednesday evening. The man was hit just before 7 p.m., Halton Regional Police said. The McDonald’s is inside a shopping plaza at the corner of Upper Middle Rd. Police confirmed the cyclist was hit in the drive-thru lane itself. Ray Bruce said he suffered a “serious limb injury,” but wasn’t able to elabourate further.
