KUALA LUMPUR: A customer who dined at a local chain restaurant specialising in cakes did not end his meal on a sweet note after coming across a derogatory note on his receipt, recently. Nazly Rosli’s experience turned sour when he noticed there was a body-shaming remark on the receipt after dining at one of the restaurant’s outlets on Feb 1. Nazly, who uploaded a picture of the receipt to his Facebook page, pointed out the word “gemuk” (fat), beneath an order of an iced chocolate beverage. It is okay to be happy at work, but please be professional,” wrote Nazly in the post. In another post, Nazly said he uploaded his original post to the restaurant’s social media page and he received a reply three days ago.
