An incident in which a resident was seriously injured has resulted in a care home being placed into special measures. Culrose Residential Home in Dickleburgh was rated as inadequate by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), following an inspection in July. Inspectors were acting on information passed to the watchdog about the incident, which indicated potential safety concerns. After being rated as inadequate for how safe, effective and well-led it is, the Norwich Road care home has been tasked with making rapid and widespread improvements. The CQC has warned it will closely monitor the facility, with a fresh inspection set to be carried out in the coming months.
