ScotRail trial set to begin tomorrow as six-month trial starts


We have recently reported that the Scottish Government confimed that from October 2 until March 29 a pilot looking at reducing the price of passengers' commutes. The trial will see big savings such as fares on main routes from Edinburgh to Glasgow going from £28.90 to £14.90 and Glasgow to Stirling from £16.10 to £9.60. It is hoped that the move will see the number of passengers using ScotRail services increase. The Off-Peak All Day 6-month trial starts this coming Monday (2 October).
