Crown prosecutors have stayed the charges against a cult leader whose group occupied a former school in a southwest Saskatchewan village. "Evil rules over good," said Brad Miller, mayor of Richmound, Sask., after hearing charges against Romana Didulo, the self-proclaimed "Queen of Canada," had been stayed. Didulo was set to appear in Swift Current provincial court on Wednesday, but Crown prosecutors issued a written stay of proceedings Tuesday. Romana Didulo and her cult stayed at the former Richmound School due to an invitation by the property owner. Richmound Mayor Brad Miller told CBC News he is deeply disappointed by the stay of charges against Romana Didulo.
