Cromwell man arrested on drug-related chargesFairfax NZ Police arrested a man in Cromwell after executing a search warrant on Wednesday morning. A 26-year-old man is heading to court after police uncovered a methamphetamine pipe and weapon while searching a Cromwell home. Detective Sergeant Derek Shaw said the Central Otago/Lakes Police executed a search warrant at an address on Barry Ave at 7.45am on Wednesday. The search warrant was carried out following extensive inquiries into drug related offending, he said. "As a result, a 26 -year-old man has been charged with possession of a meth pipe and possession of an offensive weapon."
