A police car blocks the entrance to the Countdown supermarket carpark at Queesgate Mall in Lower Hutt. A man is in a critical condition after what was reported as a fight in a Lower Hutt supermarket carpark. A fight between two people broke out in the Countdown supermarket carpark in central Lower Hutt about 11.30am on Tuesday, police said. He was taken to hospital in a critical condition. On Tuesday afternoon a police car was blocking the entrance to the Countdown carpark.
