While on Kusal Perera SLC revealed that he has been advised to rest by medical experts. "Kusal Janith Perera is suffering from a side strain, which occurred while he was batting in the second match Sri Lanka played against Zimbabwe in the ongoing ODI Tri-Series. He is being asked to rest by the doctors and will miss the remainder of the ongoing ODI series". SLC states that batsman Dhananjaya de Silva will be sent to Bangladesh as replacement for Kusal Perera.
