Christchurch has three active cases of Covid-19 after a person reported as being a weak positive on Sunday was confirmed as a historical infection. (File photo)Canterbury’s most recent community case of Covid-19 has been confirmed as a historical infection. On Tuesday, a ministry spokesman confirmed the case has now been reclassified as historical, meaning the person was not recently infectious. The decision means Christchurch has not had a new active case of Covid-19 in the community since Friday. A Ministry of Health spokesman would not say which of the Covid-19 cases visited the Amberley location of interest, citing privacy concerns.
