Md Manik/Dhaka TribuneDeath toll reaches 4,702Bangladesh registered 34 more deaths from Covid-19 in the 24 hours till Saturday morning, taking the number of total fatalities to 4,702. The country also logged more than 336,000 coronavirus cases with 1,282 people testing positive over the same period. The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) revealed the latest figures on Covid-19 in the country with a press release on Saturday. The DGHS said 10,098 samples were collected from suspected Covid-19 patients in the last 24 hours. As many as 20,603,611 people have recovered from Covid-19 which has spread to 213 countries and territories across the planet.
