Vaccination programme for third and fourth booster doses has begun across the country from today. Due to shortage of vaccine, the programme had been suspended since February 28. Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on the other hand has given guidelines on vaccination programme and implementation in this regard. According to a press release, citizens aged 18 and above will get third and fourth booster doses. Third dose vaccine will be administered at least four months after second dose while fourth dose will be given four months after administering third dose.
