A total of 914 Covid-19 cases were reported in Canterbury on Sunday. This comes as the Ministry of Health confirmed 5647 new cases nationwide. The ministry also confirmed 350 people were in hospitals across Aotearoa with the virus,On Sunday, the Ministry of Health said the seven-day rolling average of community cases was 7510, compared to 7414 the previous Sunday. In the 1pm updates, the Ministry of Health releases a total number of people who have died 'with Covid' in a particular time period. Meanwhile, 83 new cases were confirmed in South Canterbury on Sunday, as well as 51 new cases on the West Coast.
