An Oman Air flight carrying the Bangladeshi nationals landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at 6:52pm on Thursday, Group Captain AHM Touhid-ul Ahsan, director of the airport. Earlier on April 25, 292 more Bangladeshi nationals returned to Bangladesh from the Persian Gulf country. Dr Shahriar Sajjad, health officer at Dhaka airport, said all of the Bangladeshis who arrived on Thursday had tested negative for Covid-19 in Oman. Earlier on Thursday afternoon, a special flight of British Airways carrying 242 UK citizens left Dhaka. The chartered flight took off from Dhaka airport at around 4:08pm, the airport director said.
