There are 10,191 new community cases of Covid-19 and a further 14 deaths, the Ministry of Health released in an update on Tuesday afternoon. The number of publicly reported deaths with Covid-19 is now 1243, and the seven-day rolling average of reported deaths is 10. To date, there have been 1,200,706 million Covid-19 cases across the country since the pandemic began; with 43,398 active cases as of Tuesday. On Friday, it was announced cases of the BA.4 and BA.5 Omicron subvariants have been detected in the community with no clear link to the border, as well as cases of BA.2.12.1.
