A defamation case has been filed against her over a Facebook postA Dhaka court has summoned suspended assistant commissioner Tapashee Tabassum Urmi in connection with a defamation case filed over her Facebook post. After hearing the plaintiff's statement, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Zakir Hossain summoned Urmi and set the next hearing for Nov 28. The complaint further alleges that Urmi has made derogatory statements on Facebook about the interim government and Chief Advisor Muhammad Yunus. It is alleged that Urmi's Facebook post created fear among the public by expressing ‘hostile remarks’ and ‘threats to overthrow the government’. On Saturday, in reference to a statement made by the Yunus, Urmi posted on Facebook: "The countdown has begun for you, Sir."
