The five, who were arraigned on Tuesday, included Hashim Mumanjadi, 32, Health Assistant, Alidu Alhassan, 27, Farmer, Fatawu Kpanalana, 35, farmer, and Iddrisu Azindoi, 57, farmer. The accused are to reappear on February 11, while Mohamadu Dokurugu, 55, Farmer, is to reappear on February 06. The Command said in defense the security personnel also returned fire. Many residents have fled the town whilst mainly women and children have sought refuge at a clinic in the area.
