The High Court has declined to issue orders suspending decision of Speaker Justin Muturi that banned Ugunja MP Opiyo Wandayi from Parliament. He directed Wandayi to serve Speaker Muturi and the Attorney General, who are respondents in the case, with the application. Wandayi had moved to court on Tuesday challenging the decision by Muturi to bar him from accessing the August House. Justice Joseph Onguto on Wednesday said he is not satisfied that the application by the legislator was urgent. He claimed that all attempts to explore internal measures in order to get justice have been frustrated.
