more-inA Sufi teacher, accused of raping a divorced woman on the pretext of resolving her troubles, has been let off by a Delhi court saying the woman had lodged the complaint in a fit of anger. In her complaint, the 39-year-old said she had gone to the shrine in 2012 to pray as she was upset after losing her job. There she met the Khwaja, who asked her to visit his office daily where he would pray for her. The complaint says she visited him regularly for several months, where he intoxicated her and raped her. Later he married her by taking advantage of her semi-conscious condition, the complaint alleged.
