A U.S. appeals court upheld a ruling that narrows the jurisdiction under which prosecutors can bring foreign bribery charges. The decision last week from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit affirming a lower-court ruling that dismissed conspiracy charges against a foreign national accused of facilitating a bribery scheme could have a significant effect on future enforcement, attorneys said.
