Michelle and Scott Inglis were still dressed in their wedding finery after their reception when they arrived at the Hilton Leicester Hotel. The newlyweds had pre-booked a room and handed over their credit card to pay, reports Leicestershire Live. But when the transaction did not go through they realised they did not have enough funds to cover the room. Instead, they say they offered to pay £80 on their credit card and the remaining £26 in cash. But they claim the reception staff refused the compromise, as well as other suggestions, and told the Inglises they could not stay at the hotel.
