Gunmen being chased by police opened fireKARACHI: A man and his wife were injured on Sunday allegedly by the firing of police officials. Police claimed that the couple were injured in a cross-fire with gunmen who were chased by Police. SSP Korangi Ali Raza, while talking to the media at the site of the incident, said some unidentified gunmen on motorcycles snatched a rifle from a policeman. As the gunmen were being chased by a police party, they started shooting back and the couple were hit by bullets in the shootout. He said the gunmen fled and left the snatched rifle behind and added that it was too early to suggest from which party the couple had received the wounds.
